Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Rudina (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Razvigor AI Chat desktop application and this website. Rudina is operated by Zoran, an individual based in Serbia, who is the data controller for personal data processed through this service. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following data when you create an account or purchase a subscription:

  • Email address — used to identify your account and send transactional emails.
  • Display name — optionally provided during registration.
  • Subscription data — subscription status, plan, billing period, and trial end date, stored so the app can verify your access.
  • Payment identifiers — your Lemon Squeezy customer ID, subscription ID, and (for one-time token pack purchases) order ID. We do not store card numbers or full payment details; those are handled by Lemon Squeezy.
  • Profile photo — optionally uploaded by you and stored in Firebase Storage. Used only to display your avatar in the application.
  • Usage data — token consumption counts, monthly spend totals, and optional spend limit settings, stored server-side to enforce plan limits and display usage in your dashboard.

We do not collect the content of your AI conversations. Those are sent directly from the app to the AI provider of your choice using your own API keys.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To verify your subscription status and grant access to the app.
  • To process payments and handle subscription lifecycle events (renewals, cancellations, refunds).
  • To send transactional emails related to your account or subscription.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

  • Firebase / Google — provides authentication and our database (Firestore). Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Lemon Squeezy — acts as the Merchant of Record and processes all payments. Subject to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy.

Both of these services are based in the United States. If you are in the EU or EEA, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. These transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights (all users)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use local storage for one strictly necessary purpose:

  • Theme preference — we store your light/dark mode preference locally so it is remembered between visits.

No third-party tracking scripts are loaded on this site.

8. GDPR — rights of EU/EEA residents

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of access (Art. 15) — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17) — you can request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18) — you can ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) — you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21) — you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

Legal basis for processing: We process your data to perform the contract you have with us (account access, subscription management) and to comply with our legal obligations.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@rudina.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
